there are a million levels of emotional and physical harm before you get to dying. and it’s one thing to harm/inconvenience and another to wear a mark around that says “i’m harming/inconveniencing you on purpose.” very ‘grew up during a lockdown and wasn’t socialized to have normal human empathy’ type shit that’s about to ruin the world when this age group ends up in power. just say your parents didn’t care and move on.
