Also, I’m a man, so maybe that will discourage people even more. But this has happened too many times before, and it makes me want to just make friends with people who can’t be attracted to me. I established immediately that I just wanted to be friends because queer male friendships in the past usually end in the other guy catching feelings, him proposing a hookup, or us hooking up.
