thank you everyone. Just a hard working man looking out for my family and I here in Nebraska. He ended up having 2 blood clots in the left side of his brain and he didn’t remember any of our names afterwards but we will see what happens and if he needs rehab in the next 24-48 hours. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight!

Just an update for anyone who is interested. The neurology team has met with my dad twice this morning in the hospital, they are baffled as to what caused the stroke. But he passed all the screenings today. The speech pathologist was there and that was the most telling. My dad did fairly well but is still struggling with expressive language. Today he has shown lots of emotion. He is very sad that he is there and frustrated when he can’t find the words. He was able to read really well.
