I should think so, because that’s based on you wanting assurance/guidance/experience, not being judgy of people who are or are not virgins. The wanting a virgin thing if you’re not one is just a creepy (usually misogynistic) double standard

That’s so interesting and super valid! That said, speaking just for myself as a lady who’s a virgin, for me when a gentleman says this…it’s actually kind of a red flag. In my experience, guys who emphasize this kind of thing sometimes (not always!) end up having views that lean a little into misogynistic territory. I’m sure there are kind and respectful men out there who feel this way! But for me personally, the risk of running into someone who follows Tate-type thinking is just too high. 🥲
