smartphones/social media/cringe culture have created a mutually upheld panopticon where everyone is afraid to be unique or have fun in public lest they be humiliated for it online

for real and nobody goes out anymore nobody makes poor decisions for the story or breaks rules for fun anymore. and even if i try to do it myself, it's so hard to find people to do it with

My friend group and I go out but we have protection just incase something happens. We still go outside and do things.
