Vocal fry is lowering your voice down far below normal speaking range, til it starts to have a gravelly quality. Extreme examples are some styles of metal vocals, known as growls. Vocal fry is very bad for the voice and frequent use can create lasting damage to your vocal chords (PS - the wording of this looks so much like AI but I swear I’m just info dumping 😭)

It’s bad for your voice. I do that all the time throughout life. That’s really not copied from someone google search or Wikipedia page
