I know it isn’t a substitute but if my choices are talk to someone on yy vs don’t talk to anyone I’ll choose the first option

I see the logic, but you DO have the option to talk to someone irl. It’s just harder, it takes more planning and effort. What I’m trying to emphasize with this is that even though it feels so much easier to spend time on socializing digitally, it’s rarely worth anything
