yeah the tipping screens at the most random places has turned me into to never tipping anywhere except for when sitting at a restaurant

I once hit no tip at Starbucks and the girl looked at me sighed and made a pouty face. Like I made 12 and did physical labor, you make 15 an hour to pour some milk in a cup. sybau

When I was in Europe, it was not customary to tip and it was amazing. They just paid their employees enough that we didn’t have to worry about it. After we finish our food, we get the bill. We get a smile and a wave goodbye no asking of any tip.

They’re doing their job. I provide services to customers and I don’t get a tip for doing a good job. All it’s done is allowed restaurants and bars to not have to pay employees a living wage
