I’m a little scared of my white friends. I’ve known them my whole life, so I never questioned racism with them. But people grow up, hear things, and can develop biases. Knowing someone since childhood doesn’t mean they haven’t changed. Rip Nolan Wells

it breaks my heart that you feel this way, as a white girl who would never in a million years hurt any of you - i am so fucking sorry for the actions of others who are apart of my race please if theres ever any way we can help you feel more safe or comfortable, tell us ♥️

no literally. just don’t do certain stuff with them: like going on boats and hiking and you’ll be good. just do the common stuff: restaurants, sporting events and etc.

I’ve only read about his story briefly but from what I’ve read about it I don’t think his friends had anything to do with his disappearance

right like don’t let yourself be completely alone with them when in outdoor or isolated environments. this is coming from a white person, i’ve seen these patterns emerge in people around me out of “seemingly nowhere”

little comments or behaviors that have micro aggressive undertones but are so subtle most people wouldn’t even pick up on them or think to confront them. even LOOKS. like if a Black friend group is out in public and talking or laughing loudly (existing), so many people just STARE or look at them with this kind of disgust, it’s hard to describe unless you’ve seen or experienced it

that seems safer if the group is already diverse!

why do you think they continue being friends with black people? why do they have token black friends even though they hold prejudice?? is there any empathy or is it just sick and twisted

a lot of them don’t think they’re racist or have macroaggressions that are distinguishable. they can still love and care for a Black person while simultaneously disliking some or most other Black people. have you ever heard a white person say “one of the good ones”?

yeah don’t go. i hate white washed Black people. it’s good to have a diverse friend group. i hope this case wakes a lot of people who are up.

these losers are just racist ragebaiters hiding behind a screen. turn off DMs if you ever mention your gender or race, telling you as a friend here 😭

as far as i’m aware no, but either way i would never leave a friend on an island with no transportation back do i think they killed him, absolutely not but they were certainly part of the problem

im pretty sure he stayed to talk to a girl named Katie, or am I reading that wrong? if you tell your friend to come back on the boat with you and he doesn’t listen and decides to stay on the island what are you supposed to do?
