Yes. Grooming is when you basically manipulate an already-vulnerable someone into acting/feeling a certain way to gain something from them (basically gaining their trust to later manipulate them). You can groom someone older than you, the same age, or younger. Most people just think about it as sexual predation on a minor but one could also groom an elderly person for money (or sex)

So true, a 22 year old girl from my church just married a 35 year old weirdo and is already pregnant with his kid. She didn’t go to college, had no career or real life experience, she just liked that he was providing for her and now she’s stuck
