My mom was from a different country, and I met my grandma when I was small but I don’t speak the language and I haven’t talked to my grandpa in months. I guess that’s where me and my brother get the whole not communicating with family thing from.

My dad is as well and never taught me the language, so I can’t even communicate with his family if I had their contact info :(

Yup same, I think I want to try learning the language so I can communicate with my grandpa and try to learn more about me and my brothers history.

I would ask for their contact info and try using Google Translate as a start
