Right. My moms friend was born into a family that owned a company which she inherited and is basically set for life. Got money coming out her ass and she never had to work for it.

You wouldn’t think it was unfair if it were you. Be happy that they are in a good place and work to get yourself there.

I wasn’t attempting to make a profound statement, just saying that envying others will only ever kill your own satisfaction and joy. If you can be happy for them then you are generating positivity. If you can work towards it, you are producing productivity. This is a net gain, even from somebody else’s situation.
