same. maybe the light ones are evidence of a battle fought but the keloids are nasty.

There’s things you can do to help reduce them but…scars are scars. They’re there forever. With therapy and support you can learn to love your body with them

Yeah mine are rough. Huge keloids and really big. Everyone notices them but im not that kind of person anymore. It all happened more than 5 years ago and theyll be there until i die just because i was insecure about my body 😐

Ive been to so many therapists and they have no solutions tbh. Therapy is good but not for self image. All they say is that self worth comes with age and time so i just have to deal with it. Theres no magical solution to make me feel grateful for hurting myself

Ofc there’s not, and they’re right that time helps but they’re not giving you any other type of cognitive reconditioning or mechanisms to help cope with the feelings you have NOW? What kind of therapist are you seeing?

i guess all we can so is grow. we've been through worse, and anybody who finds my scars ugly is somebody not worth my time
