I miss horror args. People’s beliefs are so absolute, they’re impossible on social media today. People will scream fake before they have a chance to view more of the story. They were made to make you question reality.

I made a relatively popular one about a year ago that got ripped to shreds because it wasn’t “unique” and was too “unrealistic”

dude i was just talking to someone else about this, the way ARGs function has really deteriorated over the course of the past decade. i don’t totally mind how the definition has expanded but i still really miss when “participating in an ARG” called for actual deliberate cooperative teamwork

That makes me so sad. I’d watch it. The sky vanished wasn’t realistic, people still loved that.
