You shouldnt have to teach them. It should either be natural, or they should take the time to learn it by themselves

tell them what you expect and if they don’t put in effort to accomplish that they don’t care

Hmm i think maybe give subtle hints on you want to be loved, or just have a conversation. Tell them or hint at what you want and let them work on doing it subconsciously.
