not everyone grew up around dogs and not everybody is comfortable being around animals. it irritates my soul that some people will just casually let their touch me, lick me, chase me… and then tell me “that’s just how they are” IDGAF youre okay with it im not. I dont have to be okay with it. Why can’t you just use a leash and make everyone happy? Your dogs comfort doesnt go above literal human beings safety.

when im taking my dog on a trail i keep her on an extendable leash with an Ecollar for extra security. ppl hate on the e collar bc they think it hurts but i tested every level on my own neck first and its fine.

some trails i go on I do that but the state parks and populated areas with rules ill just give her the leash that feels most freeing for her.
