A friend of mine just died, and despite being long distance and not knowing them long I’m not handling it well at all. I’m also frequently alone and can’t help but wonder if my friends even care about me when I don’t hear from them unless I reach out first. Not to overshare but DAMN it’s rough out here!!

I’m sorry that is really awful. It doesn’t matter how long you knew them, they were your friend and that’s important. Different friends communicate different ways but it sucks when you are doing all the work in a friendship :( . I hope things start to look up
