Yes that’s why women couldn’t vote until 1920 right?

Well that comment sucked.. first of all it was dumb, second of all it literally contributes to misogyny by blaming women for men’s outcomes🫩 for someone who thinks right wingers are nut jobs u should probably stop resembling them. U literally sound like my trump supporting mom. Like,, what are u doing man. Do better, please.

Ah, yes, as guys celebrate their friend being sexually assaulted, teach each other to degrade women in every capacity, don’t give a fuck about each other’s feelings, and perpetuate sexist bullshit that harms *everyone*.

you’re 100% correct but these braindead zombies are allergic to holding women accountable for anything

This post is about holding mysogynistic men accountable for femicide and you’re complaining. You are actively avoiding accountability you dumb fuck

You’re framing the mindsets as though misandry isn’t a response to societal mysogyny (which it is)

I didn’t say it wasn’t, I just said both are narrow minded and misguided.

Um are you serious, you don’t understand the difference between saying that both homophobia and racism are narrow minded and saying misogyny and misandry are both narrow minded?💀💀💀💀💀 one of these is not like the others

I can be against the patriarchy and still think misandry is dumb, it’s mostly harmless, but it’s still a dumb generalization of an entire group of people that sets humanity back. You are making the “oh you’re against tomatoes? Why do you support peas?” Argument

All are basic generalizations of entire group of people without logical backing. There is obviously a difference in scale but misogyny, racism etc are inherently bad and still would be so if they were totally nonviolent

Well the thing is, it’s not dumb. People, especially women have a hell of a reason to be angry about what men are doing/have done to them. Minimizing that and equating it in ANY way to misogyny is fcking disgusting of you. THAT is what is actually dumb here.

It is, in fact, dumb. Every person should be judged on a case by case basis, if we deviate from this we are no better than they are.

“Without logical backing” as there is an entire societal and systemic problem you’re overlooking.

Yeah dude, I hate the system, but most men are just dumb pawns in it. Fight the system, not just “men”. I really don’t think “hating an entire group of people is bad” should be a hot take 😂

I agree that the system is the main problem. At the same time, the system doesn’t exist independently of the people. Men aren't responsible for creating the patriarchy as individuals, but they still have choices about whether to reinforce or challenge it. Obviously I don't think all men are necessarily the problem, but many men benefit from patriarchal norms (myself included) and therefore have some responsibility to help change them, rather than treating them as someone else's issue.

No this post is about downplaying misandry just because misogyny is worse. Misandry leads men into misogyny the same way misogyny leads women into misandry.
