As someone who comes from a culture where tan skin is frowned upon, I truly don’t get white people 😭. My parents always told me to wear sunscreen bc they didn’t want me to get tan so it was such a bizarre thing when I saw people purposely tanning in the sun

As a pale girly- I dont care if ppl wanna tan or whatever, that’s SO fine, but tan does NOT mean orange 😭 pick a shade that actually suits your natural colors and then you won’t look like you rolled in red clay 🤣

That makes me happy to hear. My whole family has darker skin than me, especially in the summer. I'm constantly told to "go outside and get some color" and when I do go to the beach I come back the same color as before. I don't burn either! I just.. exist 😭

I used to get freckles but I don’t even get more of those anymore, and now that I’m 20 if I DO get a new freckle, I gotta worry about if ifs skin cancer or not because of all the prior sunburns 😭

The grass is always greener on the other side and people want what they don't have. People with pale skin usually don't like it much while someone like you would prefer it. Just the way it goes...
