I’m not religious so if someone is and can explain this to me I’m curious but how is masterbation wrong if it’s your own body? Like I thought you just couldn’t do anything with anyone else so who cares if it’s yours

“Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.” - 1 Corinthians 6:18

Religious scholars have found that sexual immorality as originally written in the bible refers to non consensual sex, infidelity, etc. not masturbation or anything not harmful

In that case does self pleasure even matter? Since it’s only to yourself

Yes The Christian perspective is that sexual pleasure is meant to be enjoyed solely within the confines of marriage. Anything outside of that is sinful.

Based on historical research that’s actually not true, premarital sex was not condemned in the original bible before it was rewritten in England

Google it, the bible was rewritten by king James in England to alter its original form, and this new inaccurate bible is the origin of false beliefs regarding homosexuality, premarital sex etc.

A lot of Greek/latin words were mistranslated completely and it’s led to the false hateful version of Christianity that’s taking over this country

Modern Bibles do not rely upon the King James Version

They did not correct the original mistranslations, and I think the real question is why are you so quick to deny the fact that Christianity wasn’t originally hateful, you can use google
