Our date was at my apartment and all we did was watch a horror movie, no food involved lol. Yes he was attractive, but I also really loved his personality and we had a lot in common. Not everything is about looks!

I found through experience that the sound of a guy’s voice does much more to make me attracted than his appearance. I can look at someone, think “They look attractive”, and not feel much. But the minute that person has a specific kind of voice, I start falling head over heels for them. I say start because I can’t finish without learning that they have an awesome personality.

It was his idea! I think he wanted me to feel safe so he recommended my apartment. We were supposed to go to brunch a week prior but I had gotten sick so we rescheduled and he recommended a horror movie at my place :)

I feel like being alone in your apartment on a first date is the opposite of feeling safe. If the date hadn’t gone well or he was a shady person, now he knows where you live. But I’m glad that you were able to trust him enough and that it seemingly went well

I can understand that! I have just had bad experiences going to men’s places for dates and I have a roommate, which he knew about. Plus we talked for a few weeks before I invited him over and I also let all my friends know what was happening

it wasn’t a formal date, it was an informal date so the regular rules don’t apply consider considering she already let him into her house, on the first date, you never even go into her house so therefore that rule is out the window
