If you have ghosted them all semester, you shouldn’t interact with them because you’re not ready and you’re going to ghost them again afterward anyway.

Also, you ghosting them was not accidental. You knew you wouldn’t respond just like you know now that you’ll ghost them soon after your little wave and maybe a brief text exchange. That’s not fair to them if they actually do like you, getting their hopes up only to disappoint them.
