Traditional gender roles are designed to keep the women stupid and the men in power

Why are you in college if you wanna be someone’s partner your whole life? Why are you going into debt? Why do you think this life will make you happy? Why do you think another human wants to fund your lifestyle in this economy? Sounds like you just want to be a chud your whole life and can’t fathom that someone staying home 24/7 is wildly unattractive. Get a degree so when shit goes south in life you can take care of you. Find a passion, you’re more than a man’s toy.

I don’t get why anyone would want to be a man’s hired maid the rest of their life

hi op here! i would rather do housework than suffer through american work culture just to then retire when im elderly and no longer have the strength and energy of someone in their 20s and 30s ❤️ also chores are SOOO much easier with just two adults than with children

Are you sure you’re not just lazy? You’re going to have a really hard time finding a man who not only makes enough to support himself and someone who doesn’t do anything, but also wants to spend that much money on someone who only sometimes does chores inside the house. We’re adults now, I know it sucks but we have to move on girl

It makes more sense for someone to be a SAHM because raising children is pretty much a full time job, and if one parent is going to be mostly absent then there has to be one to stay behind and make sure the child has SOMEONE

Well, I agree with you but implementing women into the workforce en masse has made it so now we NEED to have both partners working. It used to be one person could support a household.

Thank you for answering me!! Damn yeah maybe she's just lazy. Depends on her major but it sounds like she just wants a dad to pay her bills and take care of her😭

Crazy work to be on a college forum app after flunking out from laziness

This. I tell my girlfriend she needs a job while we don't have kids, but once we have kids were both gonna take leave for a while and she'll probably just stay at home after that and I'll go back to work when the kids like 1.
