They came out with a new album in 2021 and I still am not over it! I don’t think I listen to them all at the same time but they all hit different feelings for me. I like metal and harder stuff when I work out, or like drive because it sets me up for a good day. Post was pretty upbeat at that time so he was like positive get some work done vibes. ABBAs my go to when I’m drinking or having a bad day. Each one depends on my vibe for the moment but it always makes me laugh when I see the combo I get

ohhh that makes sense, and i did not know they’d released one so recently! if you’re a fan of metal you should definitely listen to Wisp’s discography! my favs are Get back to me, Black swan, Mimi, and Yellow :)

It’s awesome if you haven’t heard it! It’s not as upbeat but it’s absolutely a touching tribute to what they were and how time has changed them. I try to listen to a little bit of everything. My childhood best friend is in a death metal band called bonginator so I go from heavy heavy to classical like Mozart and Bach (mostly when I study or read). I think music is so diverse and can really fit any mood honestly, so I try to match up the vibes to how I’m feeling. I’ll add the wisps to my queue!

definitely yes! you’re very articulate about your passion for music it’s honestly so endearing to see, especially how you connect it with your friends. but same, a childhood connection put me into the rock scene now that i think about it and my music taste sorta sprung up from there, a7x will forever hold a special place in my heart because of it. i hope you enjoy wisp! her music personally seemed unique when i found her, although she has a couple tiktok sounds now i think

and yes omg the classical music is KEY to locking in when it’s time to study. the majority of my recommended on youtube is lofi videos and other scenic sounds playing on 6hr loops from half-finished study-sessions

It’s definitely dope! It’s very light and ethereal but I can totally see it doing well on TikTok! A7x is dope and that and bowling for soup makes me think of being like 14 a little more then they should. I got the chance to drive my friends tour bus and I realized how much other people and music can shape who we are so I love bonding over it

I hate sitting in the quiet and sometimes just listen to a song can help me feel my emotions or lock in to study like you said so I’m always look for more. I think we undermine how important music can be for all of us

absolutely of course! they’re an amazing band and OMG i literally just put bfs on here, so im convinced you’re now just actively watch me build this playlist. they’re a complete throwback to being a kid you’re right, i miss it but yearn for the feeling listening to them provide. driving their bus sounds like an awesome experience too wow! what fun! hopefully it wasn’t too long of a drive between destinations each time though

It was a life changing trip. I’d drive overnight and it was so peaceful! We went from Kansas City to Oregon and back for three weeks. It was so crazy watching this guy who broke me out of pop and whatever was on the radio headline shows and being so much joy to fans! I think BFS is just such a classic we all have to start there lmao! I hope your playlist comes out dope! It sounds like it’s gonna be awesome!!
