I’m 24 and genuinely thought I’d be married by now to my bf of 7 years, but it turns out I need a job in order to afford getting married + living together. Idfk how I’m going to work with me being socially inept, anxious and depressed. My sleep schedule is ruined so if I do work a night shift job I’ll see him even less than I already do. And remote isn’t really an option since that is either talking on the phone or something that requires years of experience. I need therapy… BUT I CANT AFFORD IT
Why do people rush to get married?? Half of marriages end in divorce. I’m 30 and so happy to be single. My married friends are boring af. If you’re in love and that’s what you want, great. If not, stop stressing and enjoy life. All of you guys think 30 is old until you reach 30 and then you’ll realize how young it actually is.
if it makes you feel better a lot of people don’t get married until later, most of my cousins got married in their late twenties to early thirties and they’re all happy in their relationships. just wait until you meet someone you actually like and mesh well with and it’ll be fine, even if that doesn’t happen until you’re 50 you’ll still be happier with a person you love over some random person you felt pressured to marry!
