I’m act still getting apps. Just got one today and the girl sent me a DM to let me know. I checked it out and she made a big fuss over the weight question. I told her that I’m outside of her preferred height for a man and she blocked me 💀
I’ll try this too. Why not lol

Like how are you going to make a huge deal over me asking about weight (something that can be changed) and then block me over my height when that’s something that can’t be changed. Sounds a little hypocritical to me but idk maybe I’m the delusional one

Height and weight are both measures of numeric value

Why is it okay for women to ask for height but it’s not okay for men to ask for weight? That’s hypocritical

Double standard

It’s different. Also if you want women to have a better reaction to the question this is the way to ask it. If you want them to think you’re weird ask directly for their weight

How is it different?

You do know that weight can change, right? Height cannot. Why should it be okay for a woman to judge and ask based on something that cannot be changed but it’s not okay for a man to judge and ask based on something that can change?

So it’s different simply because it’s women and for some odd reason you’re not allowed to criticize or ask women about certain things but you can do the exact same thing to men and society is just supposed to be okay with it?

Where’s the equality

Anonymous replying to -> OP 16w

It’s Because weight can change and because of the pressures put onto women to be thin

Exactly! Weight can change so there’s nothing wrong with asking about it Height can’t change yet society still puts pressure on men to be absurdly tall. It’s a double standard that goes both ways. You can’t come at this from an emotional standpoint

If short men are allowed to be criticized and demeaned, so are fat women

You’re being extremely hypocritical and hate yet to give any actual reason to refute what I’m saying

Height and weight preferences are not equivalent. Weight changes frequently, height does not. No one wants to be grilled about their weight, woman or man. So why not use some empathy? I can’t stop you from being contrarian, but if you want more luck in your dating life i recommend being more understanding unless you want a girl who’s just as much of an asshole as you are

No one wants to be grilled about their height, man or woman, yet men are constantly grilled about their height and the dagger is they can’t change it no matter how much they’re grilled for it. At least a woman can lose weight or gain weight if they’re grilled for being too thin or fat. That’s a major difference. You’re just one of those people that’s “women are never allowed to be criticized because we’re queens and perfect just the way we are but men can absolutely be criticized about eve
