The difference is mostly like outward appearance tbh. Pothead guys usually have this scraggly unkempt look with long dreads and a certain smell lol. Outwardly I look very basic and put together. I know it seems superficial but i just dont find the "hippie" look attractive

oh youre not wrong about that part lol! but theres a lot of like super well kept dudes who still smoke weed a ton i just think u havent come across any yet but i wish u luck! cause its so fun smoking with someone u love and just geeking with eachother but i totally understand the unkempt look and them asking to smoke as a “date” 😭

Yeah i also live in maine so like my options are suuuuuper limited and most men fit into my description above even if they do or dont smoke weed LMAO

I think my fear is that someone will date me with the expectation i will ween off eventually but like i cant sleep without it now 😁 i be having abandonment and trust issues

At the end of the day dude, no one is perfect, there is no perfect match, if I fw you I fw you, that’s not changing, it’s more of a defense mechanism rather than a full on “ew that’s gross”. It’s like pattern recognition if that makes sense + my values for “you do you” in most cases trump my view of it being a red flag. I guess it’s more of a yellow flag not fully red but it’s like “watch out” yk.

Balance is important, too much substances or substance fucks with your head one way or another, it’s ok to have fun but you gotta look out for your mental

Ok valid i might just be more mentally ill than you. It's a part of my routine and im autistic and i just really like to smoke at the end of the day. I've also been in therapy for years and think im pretty chill so i dont see my usage being bad other than the obvious damage to my lungs and memory lmao

Oh I totally get it, I’m super autistic abt my health and good for you for going to therapy, something I hated and could never do. But exactly my point, brain fog is ridiculous, I use to smoke everyday middle school through my freshman year of college, but it’s just something that I realised wasn’t really doing anything to benefit me personally, I just wish I could’ve realized that before I spent all that money. 😭 hope this helped tho!
