im so jealous of girls who can easily dress girly and wear makeup and pretty hair. every time i try copying it i feel sooo out of place and it feels weird. i end up so insecure and go back to my ugly ass jeans and graphic t shirt combo 😭

Aww I bet you are such a beautiful young lady it’s okay that you don’t dress like Everyone Else that doesn’t make you unattractive

You go back to jeans and a shirt because that’s who you really are, and there’s nothing wrong with that! Your jealousy sounds socially imposed. You don’t need to be super girly to be feminine, and you don’t need to be feminine to be a woman 🫶

Honestly, I fell in love with my ex when she would wear nothing but pj pants and tshirts , and don’t get me wrong I loved when she would dress up but I knew she was at her most comfortable in graphic tshirts and jeans ! So No complains from me! lol

You have to feel comfortable in yourself first and that takes a while

I think you just need to find your style! Go to a clothing store and keep trying on clothes you like until you find one that fits you well and adds to an aesthetic that you’d like to build on, and keep going

I was like this for years too, but I started mixing everything and it helped a bunch. Like wearing sweats but wearing makeup. Concealer, light blush, and lipgloss. Doing my hair but leaving my face bare, etc

Dress how you want to! Don’t need to copy someone else’s style. And if you need help with makeup tips I am self taught and can help too :)

It makes me feel like a pig in lipstick, especially cause I spent a lot of my life being more masculine so when they’re days I wanna actually look like a girl I can’t 🤕

When I was in middle/early high school all my clothes were hand me downs, but since college I’ve gotten to buy my own stuff (I like thrifted stuff, cheap and it looks expensive) and I feel like it’s boosted my confidence a lot, which I definitely needed as a guy 😪

ur spot on with everything you said. i feel most comfortable and myself in my normal outfits, but i feel pressured to be traditionally feminine in order to be attractive

unfortunately ive been trying for many years but immediately start freaking out because none of the clothes feel like me. the way you put it sounds super simple but for me that is extremely difficult because i have identity issues
