It’s absolutely necessary. It’s the least you can do.

Hot take: casual sex/hookup sex shouldn’t have aftercare unless its involving harsh things like CNC; that’s how ppl get attached 🤷♀️

Hotter take: people shouldn't have sex with random people they wouldn't commit to in the first place

if you’re not emotionally stable enough to keep yourself from “getting attached” when you don’t want to, you probably shouldn’t be having casual sex.

no. you should still give aftercare to hookups. there are non-romantic forms of aftercare like offering the person a drink or a wet wipe, maybe a snack if they’re staying overnight.

i’m specifically talking about catching feelings from giving them aftercare… not the hookup itself.

i never said they didn’t💀 i’m saying that’s irrelevant because i’m talking about proper aftercare, not whatever OPs definition of it is…

“if you’re not emotionally stable enough to keep yourself from ‘getting attached’ ” then they shouldn’t have *casual* sex. that’s honestly very simple.
if they’re that worried about it then they shouldn’t put themselves in a situation where it’s a possibility.

so, you were talking about cuddling. not legitimate after care. you literally said that!
