The Angel Trees are these kids asking SANTA for gifts. That’s why they’re asking for specific, special things. Because Santa is magic. If they knew Karen buying l on a budget I’m sure they wouldn’t ask for iPads, name brand Barbie’s, Jordan’s, etc.

also god forbid a poor kid want something nice (oftentimes things that they see their more affluent friends have)
