Breaks my heart that more and more small land owners are allowing themselves to be bought out by development/investment companies that have the power to outbid individual buyers. Unless our parents pass down land, our generation is going to be the most land-poor generation in American history
I don't even care that the land is in the middle of nowhere, in fact I like it like that (my dad grew up in a small town he hates and doesn't understand why I like the idea of rural living). But in a time when nothing is priced reasonably, it would be such a freaking blessing to inherit land that I can build a house on
