I won about 11k at the casino on st Patrick’s day when we all went out and I still haven’t told my family or friends. I’ve spent maybe $200 of it yesterday but haven’t really touched it.

I got super lucky with $15k, did ALL the wrong things (ex: I told ppl), wasn't smart with it. To me, that amount felt like infinite money. Ts was deadass gone in like 3/4 months. Valuable lesson ig 🥲

Back then it was, I did not understand that $15k is barely anything in present day USA 😭 I'd never possessed anywhere remotely close to that number before I DEFINITELY LEARNED MY LESSON. I now understand how far the dollar actually goes now. And I also know to never ever utter the actual amount in my account. And to maintain the mindset that I'm broke af no matter what.
