I have to breakup with my boyfriend and tell him I’m cheating with his best friend. I’m honestly really worried he’ll hurt himself when I do. Would it be insane to text his parents first so they know to watch out for him?

You know don’t typically judge, but instead of cheating on him why didn’t you just break up with him before cheating on him with his best friend. Typically in a situation like this you were already attracted to him. But yeah I feel for the homie, he doesn’t deserve to have the 2 people the closest to him completely betray his trust.

We actually did breakup. The first time me and his friend hooked up was while me and my bf were broken up. Then we got back together. Then we broke up again and me and the friend hooked up again. Then we got back together. The cycle happened a few more times before we eventually started cheating together

So again why get back together with your bf if you kept hooking up with the best friend in between it? Would’ve been a way less awkward situation than it is now man. But you gotta tell him even if it’s awkward he’s the only victim here

Because every time we broke up my parents threatened to disown me and all my friends said I was making things for the friend group awkward and begged me to get back and he’d threaten to hurt himself if I didn’t get back together with him

That’s understandable, although 2 wrongs don’t make a right id report it to someone that can help. But also he’s probably not going to hurt himself. Had an ex try to do that threat towards me so I called the suicide hotline and after telling her that she insulted me and called me a moron. But she left me alone 🤷‍♂️ overall this a very complicated situation. But much luck to you at the end of it. Wasn’t trying to tell you how to live your life. But the truth will make this a lot better in the end

Yeah I know two wrongs don’t make a right. I’m just ready for all of this shit to be over and I know he deserves the truth. That’s why we’re telling him soon
