imo it shouldn’t matter, we should all be able to trust our partners, HOWEVER u should support ur gf in whatever insecurity she might be dealing with, which is usually what jealousy comes from. i’m a bi woman, so applying this kind of line of reasoning to my life would make me very lonely, so i wouldn’t expect a partner to adhere to it, and i think it’s good to have friends of different genders. i also got to this mindset by becoming very secure in myself, which is very hard but so worth it!

Shit man idk Would you be cool with her primary gym partner being a guy? I think friendship can exist between genders and my ex was friends with girls i didn’t talk to, but I also knew of them and paired with trust I was never worried. But if she doesn’t know this girl, she can be weirded out, because how did you two start talking? Do you go up to her? Did she come up to you? What are the chances she likes you?

If they had no romantic interest in each other idk. I’m not into my friend. She came up to me and asked for help with something and that’s how we met. I don’t think she’s into me at all.

okay so that’s not what i mean by “support ur gf”. talk to her abt why she thinks it’s weird, make sure she knows that u love her and find her attractive etc etc, figure out what’s causing those feelings for her.
