So having something you want to do isn’t making decisions for the both of you inherently. It could literally be “what do you think about going out for a date *doing this activity* tonight?” It’s not put in no input or all of the input.

there’s a high likelihood the other person isn’t thinking of potential activity-planning as an obligation or duty and instead thinks he’s just leaving things open-ended. hence what I said about direct communication
