I’ve faced so many micro aggressions from him & rude comments about my skin. This was the first white guy I’ve dated so I just have a bad taste in my mouth now.

Comments about your skin made you feel uncomfortable, so you’re writing off everyone of his skin tone? I’m not trying to invalidate how he’s treated you, I am sorry about that, but do you see my point?

Yes. Obviously I know every white man is not like this but it hurts so deeply being in an interracial relationship & receiving those comments from your partner. I’d rather not take the chance again, that’s my choice. 🤷🏾‍♀️

& they didn’t just make me “ uncomfortable” let’s not downplay his blatant racism & ignorance. Unless you’re a poc who has experienced that all your life the last person you want to hear those comments from are your partner who’s supposed to be your safe space.
