Because they are selfish and think they deserve all the affection to themselves without putting any energy into a relationship seriously and since its all about them and their feelings they feel as thought they deserve more “love” which is sometimes found in other people so thats why they dont want to break up with their partner so they can have two ways of receiving attention and affection
