used to know a severely depressed unstable guy who studied Icelandic on his own for a couple years as a teen cause he was convinced running away to Iceland would fix his whole life for him idk why but it turned out he was right

This is very true. I lived in American Samoa for little over a year. Moved there thinking I’d adjust. I was super depressed

I do find the beauty in Germany and appreciate their motivation for a greener living environment…. I’m just still depressed 😭

After the war they cracked down on antisemitism. However, other groups and ever Jewish people still, face discrimination
