he did have a fwb situation with some girl before we started dating & my first boyfriend cheated on me so maybe it’s stemming from insecurities surrounding those separate things? idk i feel so irrational

Definitely both contribute. Not sure if him having a fwb before means he will cheat,, kinda tricky there. Maybe ask if he can have location on or if he can call you every night just so you can check up on him/ make sure he is safe?
