The way I see it, if I’m your friend and you’re pretty… eventually you’re gonna date someone. So either I want to be around you more and date you myself because you’re cool or I get over it and put you in the friend zone. More beneficial to make a move.

I have a lot of male friends and they’re never weird like that, but maybe thats because I told them once that I only like older men and they’re all a year or two younger than me.
