In the end, we all just vote for who we think will help us and who seems to reflect our own moral values. Not saying he won't, but that has yet to be determined. As I saw someone say a few months ago: love him or hate him, this is the chance to see a social democrat and their policies at work in the wild. If he does well, they gain credibility and probably support. If he fails, well, probably the opposite, and NYC suffers for it. Let the experiment play out though, it's in the interest of both sides.
