u mind would be BOGGLED if u actually saw the incredible amount of commercial flights that take off and land safely with 0 issues 🙏🙏 but it’s okay and normal to feel uncomfortable, wear ur seat belt 🙏 but aviation actually astonishes me w its overall safety rating, I don’t think ppl understand HOW MANY PLANES TAKE OFF AND LAND SAFELY EVERYDAY 🙏

turbulence is normal and as uninteresting as bumps in the road are when driving 🙏 (but still wear ur seatbelt obvi, it jus a basic safety measure). I am still someone who is like scared of rollercoasters and used to also fear turbulence 😂 now my body has just gotten used to it so I don’t notice it as much bc often times it is just such a routine part of even otherwise very safe flights

but with that I still am very supportive of myself and others wearing seatbelts if a flight is more turbulent than usual 💯 bc there are so many measures that support a plane staying safe / afloat during turbulence, the main risk is those not wearing seat belt may get injured if there is a more intense bump💯that’s the only reason I don’t like more intense turbulence, but if u & ur surroundings are secured, it would be more realistic to fear getting eaten by a lion or something than any issues

w/ turbulence lol 🙏 no need to read all of this I jus enjoy expressing it haha but feel free to skim and hopefully this info may be comforting to skim at the least 😂💯

No I read it! Honestly really helpful! I’m an aerospace engineer acually so I know my fear is unfounded, it’s just the drops make something in my monkey mind go off lol. There’s been over 200 million us flights since 9/11, and only 3 have been major disasters
