the point is that people use “pattern recognition” as an excuse to be racist, i.e “black people are all violent bc they commit more violent crimes in the US… ohh im just recognizing patterns im not racist 🥺” but when you point out school shooting/rape statistics they say “he’s just a bad guy don’t generalize about an entire race IM not a bad guy”. it’s hypocritical and racist and ignores the background context of most social issues

The FBI keeps track of criminals….. so yes there stats are reliable and mostly true😳, regardless all races have stereotypes therefore racism or saying “pattern recognition” is fucked, i’m just speaking in general
