For more context. As a leftist, I get kind of annoyed with other leftists in my town who think the answer to everything is just doing nothing to “improve” a situation and then they get surprised when doing nothing gives them the same bad results.

My sis told me once when my family was not stable, “You can only complain if you can’t change anything”. It has really stuck with me so people who whine and don’t do anything bother me
