it’s ironically more nuanced than you think. Someone who constantly takes a nuanced approach likely tends to see both sides of a story. A lot of the times it’s not “right vs wrong” but more “partially right vs partially right” and being able to see that is wise. Unless the mf is taking a nuanced approach on facts like 2+2=5 then I actually think the person is wiser and more compassionate

some things should not have a nuanced opinion. i think having a nuance opinion (not picking a side) is a reflection of poor character and bad critical thinking skills. with some things in life, you absolutely do need to pick a side. for example, slavery is not something to have a nuanced opinion about
