Well I mean yeah. Finding someone who fits what you want in a partner is very important. So that you can properly cherish them and have a healthy, loving relationship. Instead of settling for someone who doesn't fit your standards so you just kinda hate/resent them and treat them like shit.

Obviously the relationship is about both parties But getting into a relationship is about finding someone who fits what you want/are looking for Ppl settling for random ppl they don't really like is why most marriages fail, ppl treat their partners like shit, ppl have horrible toxic relationships, etc
