Is it corny to get my bf flowers when I dump him? He loves flowers & I don’t wanna end things on bad terms but it’s just not working for me

Feels rude tbh. When my dad passed we immediately got rid of all the flowers we were given. Kind of a loud reminder as to why you have them, so…I can’t say I recommend breakup flowers for him to proudly display to remind him of the breakup

I don’t think it’s rude but I get where you’re coming from. I still love him immensely but his direct actions caused this breakup. I don’t hate him but just know I’m not willing to make it work.

You don’t have to justify your decision to me, you do you. I’m just arguing that flowers aren’t really going to soften the blow, nor are they likely to be cherished by him after the fact. Be nice, be sincere, and be direct. Get flowers if you want, I just don’t think they’re needed
