Hot take but just because you hear about other people hooking up or doing FWB doesn’t mean you have to do it too. Not everyone has to enjoy casual sex and that’s okay.

This is so important to realize. I discovered a year and a half ago that casual sex just isn’t for me. I know some people really enjoy it, and I’m happy for them, but I wasn’t wired that way.

I’ve tried it, not really a fan either. Best experiences I’ve ever had is with gf’s. Not to say there’s anything wrong with hooking up, there isn’t. It’s just not for everyone

Yeah I’m definitely not built for it. There has to be more connection surrounding the sex for me to enjoy it. I still feel bad getting ghosted after sleeping with someone on the 3rd date, couldn’t imagine doing a hookup knowing I can’t care or get attached to the person from the jump.

Same. For me, it’s definitely part of the reason I “gave up” my virginity so soon. I really wish I had waited to be sexually active, but my closest friend in high school at the time was and it seemed like everyone else I knew of was too, so I just “went with it.” 🤦‍♀️
