Ideally, you marry someone who doesn’t make you choose

That's obvious lol

Yeah I got that. But your husband is why you have the kids. So I’m saying you gotta treat the kids the best way. Because the reality is to have the best for your kids you need mom and dad or someone to fill those roles

You could. But the moment you treat your kids badly, you’ve lost all respect forever

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. Can you elaborate?

If you’re mean to the kids or not doing every single thing the best mom would do. Or atleast the effort for that. I’d be suspicious

Kids are hard. Saying you’d choose your husband over kids you gotta back up that claim with the best effort

Oh I was saying I’d choose my kids over my husband….

I see but that isn’t the reality of a lot of family homes. If my husband is toxic or has picked up a bad habit and cannot kick it for his family’s sake. No matter how much I love him, I love my kids more and I will remove them from the situation.

We’re assuming the husband isn’t toxic. If he was you’d leave him. As you’d choose your kids anyways

Not all men have a bad habit that’s a strain on the family

I’m not saying that, I made a scenario. I don’t understand why the first argument for most is to assume I’m speaking of ALL when I speaking of ONE scenario.

You’re saying kids over husband I’m saying there’s a lot to consider with a father or step father in a kids life. So it’s not as black and white as what you depict

Uhm… I don’t need a man to help me raise my kids. I wouldn’t be searching for a replacement. If a man were to step up that would be different.
