Regular sex comes with the same risks. You’re not gonna get hurt if you take precautions and do things correctly. Like going slow, and using lube, and being gentle to start. Wear protection if you need it. Or just get tested frequently and only bed with people who also get tested and have proof.

Anal has more risks related to STDs you can look it up. Both can happen ofc but it’s more common it has more infection related risks plus it doesn’t naturally lubricate lol it doesn’t go there but you could technically still use the it doesn’t go there logic with oral aswell but like I said do what u want either way

I don’t know where you are getting that anal and vaginal have a different rate for stds, the only think i can see that anal can give you is a higher rate for infections such as a uti due to fecal matter in the urethra but if it’s well cleaned before then i see no issue
